The primary purpose of this job position is to supervise the Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Information Technology Departments in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our care center, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the highest standard of safety, sanitation, and repair of the care center and grounds is maintained at all times.
This person will be responsible for establishing staffing schedules for the maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments, for hiring and supervising these staff members, and for ordering supplies and coding bills within the budget.
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have minimum of two years’ supervisory experience, in a healthcare related position in preferred.
- Training in maintenance or building codes is preferred, must be licensed to operate a boiler or working towards achieving licensure.
